Photography can be the most helpful and beautiful tool to connect with the present moment while traveling. The camera allows you to stop and really stare, converse with strangers, appreciate light or explore color, and to truly slow down.

While photography is one of the tools we use on our tours, we’ll be exploring all types of ways to tap into our creative potential — tasting new foods, swimming in the ocean, exploring other art forms, visiting artist studios and galleries, and sharing our stories with one another.

Our days are immersed in art whether we’re strolling along the streets capturing portraits of Puglian fishermen, dancing Salsa late into the night in Havana, meditating on the rocks of the Mediterranean, or sharing tortillas with Mayan artisans on the edges of a volcano. You’ll go home with a portfolio of beautiful images, a handful of new friends, and inspiration to weave this newfound creativity into your daily life.

Has it been a while since you picked up your camera? Our trips are entirely inclusive, meaning we’re open to all: photography professionals, painters or writers looking to be inspired, those who aren’t yet comfortable calling themselves ‘artists’, photo hobbyists only on the weekends, and those just starting their artistic careers.

Unlike most standard travel companies, Women Photo Tours has always been about connecting with the people in the countries we visit. We want more than just Instagrammable moments, we want soul.
